Apple Dumplings with Toffee Sauce

Ingredients

1/1/4 Cup self raising flour

25 g butter

pinch of salt

1/3 Cup Sugar

1 Tsp vanilla essence

1/3 Cup milk

1 Apple grated

Sauce

25g Butter

pinch of salt

1 Cup brown Sugar

1/1/4 Cup water

Method

1. Put dry ingredients and chopped butter into a kitchen whizz

2. Transfer mixture to a bowl and add grated apple, the milk and vanilla

Sauce

1. Add all ingredients into a pot and stir until boiling

2. Reduce heat and drop tablespoons of dough into the simmering sauce (usually makes 6-7 dumplings)

3. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes

4. Serve with vanilla ice-cream
