Chocolate Cake


Ingredients

6 eggs

200 g sugar

150 g butter

250 g dark chocolate

50 g flour

Method

1. Pre-set your oven to 200 degrees

2. Separate the egg whites and yolk into two separate bowls

3. Whisk the egg whites until soft peaks

4. Add in 20 g of sugar to and fold into the egg whites

5. In a bowl add 180 g sugar and 6 egg yolks mix well

6. Place a pot on the stove on a medium heat, melt the butter and dark chocolate

7. Once melted add to the egg yolks and combine

8. Fold in the flour

9. Gently fold in the egg whites

10. Grease proof a 26 cm cake tin

11. Pour the cake mixture into the cake tin and place in the oven for 10- 15 minutes

12. Serve warm with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.
