Fruit Pizza


I have always wanted to try this recipe and hosting a baby shower was the perfect opportunity to make this healthy fruit pizza. The base is chopped up dates, almonds and some honey then topped with greek yoghurt and a mixture of fruit. I used pineapple, strawberries, and kiwi fruit. When serving you can add a drizzle of honey over the top.

Ingredients

26 cm round baking dish

600 g dates

1.5 cups almonds

Honey

400 ml greek yoghurt

10 strawberries

half a pineapple

2 kiwi fruits

Method

1. In a food blender, chop the almonds and dates, add the mixture to a bowl and add a drizzle of honey

2. Add the mixture to a round dish and press down with a back of a spoon

3. Set it aside in the fridge

4. Just before you are about to serve, you can spoon out the greek yoghurt and add the fruit to on top of the yoghurt. Such a healthy alternative for breakfast.
