Christmas Oreo Truffels
So what is on your menu for Christmas Dessert? These Truffels are great after a heavy meal, they are bite size and filled with all the chocolate you would need to satisfy a sweet tooth craving.

Ingredients
2 Oreo cookie rolls
125 g cream cheese
300 g dark chocolate
Topping
100 g cream cheese
3 tbps icing sugar ( you need to taste the cream cheese to see if you would like it sweeter)
50 g dark chocolate shavings
Method
1. In a food processor blend the cookies till they become fine crumbles
2. Add to a bowl and mix in the cream cheese
3. Using a teaspoon spoon out individual helpings and form into small balls
4. Once all the balls are done place them in the fridge for 20 minutes to chill and harden
5. Place a sauce pan with some hot water in it and place a bowl over the pan with the dark chocolate to melt.
6. Once melted, get the balls out of the fridge and dip into the dark chocolate, two forks will help you move the balls around the melted chocolate to make sure they are fully covered.
7. Place all the chocolate covered balls into the fridge to harden
8. For the topping, combine the cream cheese, icing sugar, and chocolate shavings into a bowl
10. Once the Oreo balls have hardened take them out the fridge and add a spoonfull of the cream cheese on top of the ball
These truffels are decadently rich and creamy, great for a small dessert for after a big christmas feast
